Company Overview

Asseance Software Inc. (ASI) is a software company established in 1993 in Toronto, Canada. The company's primary focus has evolved from the preparation of custom software for businesses and organizations to the development of two programs specifically designed for use by associations, sports leagues and clubs. The main criteria of Asseance's recent software design has been the development of a reasonably priced, multi-user program that would allow organizations and businesses to effectively manage their resources -- both people and money.

Asseance President, Don Mockford, oversees the management of the company and coordinates the Asseance Software's long-term strategies. Don brings a background of business and association management to the company and has been directly involved in the association environment for over 20 years. As a result of his experience, Don has been able to work closely with the software development team to ensure that Society Manager for Windows addresses the business needs of both current and new users of Society Manager for Windows. A sales and support network is currently being established through Asseance Software dealerships across North America.

Ron Christie, Vice-President of ASI, has been a key player in the development of Society Manager for Windows. Ron has been designing and programming custom software packages since 1983. After teaming up with Don Mockford and Asseance he was able to take advantage of the company's resources to test and develop his software for the association, sports league and small business market. With the feedback from all types of organizations from across Canada and the U.S., Ron has been able to successfully integrate the administration, accounting and events management programs to produce the current, user-friendly, Society Manager and AISA software packages.

The various software modules in Society Manager for Windows and AISA were totally integrated to create a very powerful program, developed into a multi-user, network-capable, client/server, Windows-based package. The software combines the management of an organization's database, a full accounting system with its financial record keeping and reporting and a complete events management package.
